Development idea

A low level of entrepreneurship characterises the participating regions in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Finland. There is evidence that a general change in the attitude towards entrepreneurship is needed. Furthermore, young people in the participating regions show only minimal interest in becoming entrepreneurs. Experience has shown that enterprising programmes for schools lead to a higher level of enterprising activities and a better knowledge on how to start and run businesses.

Aim of the project

The project improved the attitudes in society towards enterprising in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Finland.

Main project activities

The project organised trainings for teachers in each partner country, as well as international seminars and study visits. The project established a network of teachers through which they share experiences, best practices, and reflect on their problems or successes. Additionally, the project improved existing action plans/curricula for participating schools and kindergartens, and developed materials to be used in their teaching.
