Development idea

Nowadays, the role of entrepreneurship mentors at all educational levels is becoming increasingly crucial as new platforms for company-university interaction in promoting innovations and entrepreneurial behaviour are emerging. Entrepreneurship needs to be included at all levels of education and innovative teaching methods should be developed: however, it has also been noted that teachers’ skills in this respect differ in the countries of the Central Baltic region.

Aim of the project

The aim of the CB Entreint project was to improve entrepreneurship programmes at higher educational institutions through the development of innovative cross-border training for the entrepreneurship mentors. The project set out to create a more favourable business environment for current times by positively influencing the creation of new start-ups as well as the positive exploitation of business ideas and innovations.

Main project activities

The project made a methodological contribution via knowledge creation and the transfer of the latest innovative tools in entrepreneurship education to regional development. Teachers and lecturers at all educational levels were therefore able to promote entrepreneurship more effectively and interact more intensively with new business platforms at higher educational institutions, business promotion organisations and NGOs.
