Development idea

The project background was based on the apparent facts that building sector in every country is a practical industrial branch in which the conditions, organizations and teams are changing constantly. It was discovered by project partners that management, planners and workers have nowadays very little time to deliver enough information for interaction on each stage of workflow. Also the work process in construction sector becomes constantly even more internationalized. The construction teams language capacities will be challenged by international development projects and contracts which are carried out in another country or several separate countries, or in which workers come from different countries or language groups. The work processes have become more complicated and changes in the methods of work require more learning and reviewing different processes, rules and standards than ever before.

Aim of the project

The DigiEduEt project was targeted to creation of more common construction sector terminology in Estonia and Finland. The project contributed to improvement teaching methodology by developing digital & multilingual e-learning methods for Finnish - Estonian construction sector environments.
